AFFCO is equipped with the industries most sophisticated meat and by product processing technology. AFFCO continually invests in new technology and innovative systems to improve the quality of products and efficiency at our sites.
Our processing sites maintain stringent animal welfare, food handling and hygiene standards, and all of our food processing sites have a fully implemented Risk Management Plan (RMP) which covers HACCP as well as truth of labeling and wholesomeness.
Independent agencies, such as New Zealand’s Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI), AgResearch, AUSMEAT, Cultural Groups regularly inspect and audit AFFCO’s operations.
AFFCO also encourages visits from key overseas customers and independent bodies. Our processing facilities are United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and European Union (EU) certified.
