The only way to book your Bobby Calves into an AFFCO processing plant is to now use our new Bobby Calf Booking App. The new app is separate from the AFFCO Livestock App, so make sure you save both in order to have access to all your bookings and data.

What device does the app run on?

The App itself runs in your internet browser so there is no need to install any software and it will work on a phone, tablet, PC or laptop.

How to log in

You will receive an activation link from AFFCO from the 8th of June 2023, that will take you to the App and ask you to create a password. This is the password you will use to log in to the app next time. The email address that the link was sent to will remain your username for logging into the app.

If at any time you get logged out and cannot remember your password, use “Forgot Password” button on the login screen.

Setting up your farm in 2 minutes

Firstly, confirm your farm detail or edit it.

Then confirm your bobby pick up point by placing the pin on the map – this is where you want the truck to be directed to on your farm. You can then change your street address if you wish.

How to make a booking

Click on the suitcase under new booking, pick the day of cart, enter the quantity and press enter.

Press the pencil to edit or the trash bin to cancel the booking.

Bookings can be made until the cut-off time relevant to your region, but can be edited or cancelled at any time.

Bookings will need to be in place by 9.00am, the day prior to collection. For example: calves for Wednesday pick up will need to be booked by 8.59am Tuesday.

If you have more than one dairy number you can click the top right corner to swap between them. It is important to make sure you are on the correct dairy number for each booking.

If needed you can set up other users to manage separate dairy numbers. See the next section.

How to add a user to the app

You can add users to your app by navigating to the menu and clicking Users. Add your calf rearers or farm manager and they will receive an email invitation instantly. Added users will not be able to see the admin section of the app but will be able to make, edit and cancel bookings.

When you create a new user they will be added to the Dairy Number selected at the top right of the screen. If you have multiple dairy numbers, switch to the required dairy number before you add the user. 

How to save the new bobby app on your device

Desktop or laptop:

  1. Launch your preferred browser.
  2. Enter in the website address –
  3. Save as a bookmark by pressing the star illustration within the top right-hand corner.
  4. Log in to your Bobby App using your email address and password.

iPhone or iPad:

  1. Launch the “Safari” app. The App does not work on the “Chrome” app.
  2. Enter
  3. Tap “Go."
  4. Tap the icon featuring a right-pointing arrow coming out of a box along the top of the Safari window to open a drop-down menu. Tap “Add to homescreen.
  5. The “Add to homescreen” dialog box will appear, with the icon that will be used for this website on the left side of the dialog box. Enter the name for the shortcut using the keyboard and tap “Add".
  6. Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPad or iPhone. Log in to your Bobby App using your email address and password.

Android or tablet:

  1. Launch the “Chrome” app.
  2. Enter in the website address –
  3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap“Add to homescreen” or ‘Install the Affco Bobby App”.
  4. You’ll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.Log in to your bobby app using your email address and password.

I have multiple dairy numbers but only received one invite?

If you use the same email address for multiple dairy numbers they are all linked to the one login.

Once you have created your password and confirmed the farm details for the first property you can click the top right corner of the screen to switch to your other dairy number(s).
