AFFCO Moerewa, situated in the Bay of Islands, was completely rebuilt in 1993 and is equipped with modern processing equipment. This site also has a Rendering Plant.

AFFCO Moerewa produces a full range of vacuum packed prime beef, bulk manufacturing beef, Lamb and Mutton chilled and frozen cuts and Veal cuts during the calf season. AFFCO Moerewa also produces a full range of offal from all the species processed on the site. And also Meat and Bone Meal and Tallow from its rendering plant.

AFFCO Moerewa employs a large array of skilled staff from Stockmen, Butchers, Boners, Compliance staff (internal auditors, lab samplers) Engineers, Electricians and a management team to oversee all the different processing areas.
